Labor and delivery suites
Our 14-suite unit is designed to be a comforting environment to promote health and healing. Each room is private with the latest in technology, safety and comfort for mom and family, including:
- Fold-out sleeper bed
- Birthing ball and squat bar
- Rocking chair
- DVD/VCR/CD combination
- High-speed wireless internet access
Once labor begins, mothers stay in the same room for the birth of their baby and through the first hours of recovery. Afterward, mothers are moved to a private mother and baby suite where they continue recovery until their hospital stay ends.
In recovery, our family-centered care helps you bond with your baby and teaches you how to care for him or her. Babies are encouraged to room-in with their families, but our skilled nurses are available around the clock to assist in the care for your baby.
Our goal is to make your childbirth experience and hospital stay as comfortable as possible. Our patients receive free chef-prepared meals delivered to their room, complimentary guest meal vouchers, 24-hour free access to our newborn channel, baby photography services and breastfeeding assistance from lactation consultants and educators.
If your baby requires specialized care after birth, we will care for him or her in our neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Our NICU is staffed with neonatologists (doctors highly trained in caring for ill or premature newborns) and neonatal nurses who provide compassionate, 24/7 care and monitoring.
