Malpractice insurance

Colorado has strong tort reform statutes that impose fair and reasonable limits on jury awards in malpractice lawsuits. Under Colorado's tort reform, juries are given better guidance and boundaries on their judgments and awards. Without these statutes, jury awards bear little relationship to actual damages.

As a result of these statutes, Colorado physicians have enjoyed malpractice insurance rates that tend to be lower and more stable than the national average.

Medical technologies

We are committed to supplying our physicians with leading-edge medical technologies, including:

  • Electronic medication administration record and bar coding (EMAR)
  • Meditech, a system used for electronic documentation of patient information
  • Picture archiving and communication systems (PACS)
  • T-System, which provides clinical documentation in the Emergency Department
  • Computerized provider order entry (CPOE) updates

Physician orientation programs

We understand that starting at a hospital can be daunting, but we have a variety of programs in place to assist physicians who are new to our staff. For more information on these programs, please contact our physician recruiter at (303) 695-2924.

We value our medical staff and possess a strong commitment to putting that on display through various recognitions. • Active medical staff member
