Application Requirements & Program Criteria

We appreciate your interest in the Psychiatry Residency Program. Our program is a participant in the AOA Match and accepts applications through ERAS. AOA registration for the 2019 Match opens in July 2018.

Below are the requirements for the application/admission process:

  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Dean’s Letter
  • Transcript
  • 3 Letters of Recommendation
  • Personal Statement
  • USMLE/COMLEX Transcripts

International Medical Graduates (IMGs)

If you are an International Medical Graduate, you will need to provide the following information/documentation to be considered for admission.

  • Valid ECFMG certification at the time of application
  • Citizen or Permanent Resident Status
  • Clinical experience in the U.S. (hands-on experience preferred)
  • Command of the English language
  • We do not sponsor or accept visas.

All interviews are scheduled through the program coordinator Brittany George. Interviews are completed on site and include meet and greets with current residents and tours of the medical facilities. Interviews will be held October thru December.
