Safety regulations

For the safety of our patients, staff and you, our visitors, we have enacted the following safety regulations to eliminate the spread of disease.

  • At times you may be asked to leave your loved one's room for procedures or treatments and if so, you must return to the waiting room and wait for staff to call you back
  • Critical care visitation is limited to immediate family members only
  • If your loved one needs to be placed in isolation, you will be required to wear isolation attire every time you enter the room, including a gown, gloves and mask
  • Maintain patient privacy by staying in the room with your family member while visiting, and use the nurse call light if you would like to speak with medical personnel
  • Many families share the waiting room, so please limit the number of family members in this area to help keep a peaceful, clean environment
  • Only staff may use the kitchen, so please use the call light to let us know of any needs
  • Our patients are healing and need to rest, so please keep voices low in both the patient and waiting rooms
  • Please limit cell phone use in order to limit distractions in the patient care area
  • Please wash your hands upon entering and leaving the patient's room
  • Restrooms are located outside the ICU, so please o not use the restrooms in your loved one's room
