Behavioral Health Treatment at The Medical Center of Aurora

At The Medical Center of Aurora, our team of behavioral health specialists is dedicated to working with patients throughout their entire behavioral health treatment and beyond.

 Behavioral Health

Using cognitive, evidence-based therapies heavily influenced by Marsha M. Linehan’s dialectical behavior therapy techniques, we offer behavioral health treatments designed for yours or a loved one’s success.

Our holistic approach to care means that we treat the whole person, and we recognize the importance of emotional, physical, and medical issues.

Our behavioral health programs recognize the importance of treating patients as individuals who have many unique qualities and needs.

What is Behavioral Health?

Behavioral health is an approach to mental and emotional health that aims to improve day-to-day interactions with the world. It takes into account how behavior and mental and emotional health affect the entire body, and utilizes therapies and mental health counseling that treat the entire person.

The TMCA Behavioral Health Advantage

Our diverse programs are designed to meet the needs of all patients. Our inpatient psychiatric treatment program allows patients time to recover at our mental and emotional health facilities while a team of professionals constructs a care plan focusing on bolstering strengths; and our outpatient programs help you heal with the same focus and dedication.

We also believe in partnering with outside support systems in order to ensure each patient’s path to wellness is supported not only medically by our team, but emotionally by the greater community.

Every one of our programs follows this same approach to care, and is specifically tailored to fit the unique needs of its participants. This includes behavioral health treatment programs geared towards:
